Williams have played a leading role in the design, manufacturing and installation Australia’s newest and second largest wind tunnel at MechTest—a commercial branch of the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Adelaide.

The tunnel is the only industrial-scale wind tunnel in South Australia, and features three working sections, aeroacoustic research capabilities and automotive models up to ¼ scale.

The tunnel will be used for a wide ranger of applications including wind-engineering and aerodynamics studies for aircraft structures, aerospace, wind turbine testing and much more.
