LAND 106 - M113 upgrade with BAE Systems AustraliaBAE is a global defence company with customers in 100 countries with an Australian head office in Edinburgh Park South Australia.
Williams have had a working relationship with BAE for 5 years and have been involved primarily with The M-II3 upgrade project.
This has involved the manufacture of metal fabricated components made from Stainless Steel, Mild steel, Aluminium and Bisalloy
Completed items include Ammunition Feed chutes and boxes, Fuel Tank components, Stowage Boxes and Cabinets, Floor Panels, Small Arms brackets and Mounts.
Williams fabricate these components from raw sheet and plate by laser cutting, folding on Hydraulic brake presses, Punching on CNC turret punches.
We use both Tig and Mig welding process for assembly of parts to the required standards. We source and supply all the required hardware and fixings to complete projects from drawings to finished assembled products.
BAE demand an extremely high grade of quality and manufacturing dimensional tolerance with parts supplied to them fully completed and assembled including galvanizing, Electroplating and Painted finishes.
Our ISO 9001:2008 Quality standard gives them confidence they will receive the parts as they ordered them.
Williams has a strong alliance with external customers and suppliers which allows us to supply a quality product completed to BAE’s standard, painted, labeled packed and ready for their assembly line.
